    The Royal National College for the Blind is a unique residential college of further education and vocational training for people who are blind or partially sighted. Founded in 1872 and based in Hereford since 1978, RNCB is an exceptional specialist provider of education, training and preparation for work and life. The College operates as an independent centre of excellence and as a specialist resource centre undertaking research and development projects.

    The College works with a wide range of people from diverse cultural and social backgrounds aged between 16 and 65, all of whom are visually impaired and many of whom have additional disabilities. At present we have about 180 students at the College each year.
