Reading Crossroads - Caring for Carers

To provide breaks for carers to enable them to take 'time off'. Reading Crossroads sends fully trained carer support workers to homes where a person has an illness or disability so that the family member who cares from them can have a break. We also run social day care clubs, so that people with disabilities can meet together, again allowing the person who cares for them at home to take time off.

Reading Crossroads also works with children who find themselves in a caring role - Reading Crossroads Young Carers
