  • Mission statement

Our vision is to see the health and wellbeing of the local community in Rushmoor thrive through various health and wellbeing activities, health education and the giving of advice. We believe everyone should have the opportunity to live a healthy lifestyle and have access to all the services and support that they need to achieve it.

RHL wants to become financially self sustainable and maintain our independence which enables us to respond to the varying demands of the community. Only by remaining successful can we deliver more services benefitting more people.

RHL is about improving health so that individuals can enjoy life more. Everything we do has health connections, either physical or emotional, affecting overall wellbeing. Our mission is to make a real difference to communities.

Community has no boundaries in RHL’s book, everyone deserves the opportunity to lead a healthy life, and we just want to help those who need some support in how to achieve it.

However, our objectives are not all altruistic; we need to address business issues as well as delivering activities for the benefit of the community. As a charity, limited company and social enterprise RHL has to survive in order to deliver on our social aims, therefore we have to charge for those services which are not funded, but our aim is affordability and good value for money.
