    To create a network of Africa's future leaders of business, government and civil society who have had the benefit of world class training in leadership and governance, values and ethics, and who are putting this to practice in transforming Africa.
    This prestigious program, the Archbishop Tutu Leadership program has been going for 7 very successful years, and is regarded as the best leadership program designed specifically for emerging African leaders. It will ensure the legacy of Archbishop Tutu is maintained and the values that he brings to leadership will continue.
    The Institute will become a centre for thinking and academic excellence in leadership in Africa

    African Leadership Institute aims to:

    • Become a centre of expertise and learning on leadership in Africa
    • To establish and support a well bonded network of dynamic young leaders across Africa who work with each other and hold each other to account in making Africa a better place
    • To identify Africa's highest potential young leaders, provide them with world class training in leadership, governance and values, and nurture them as they take responsibility for change on continent
