An arts charity with an emphasis on quality and accessibility providing opera and music theatre in the heart of the Cotswolds. Supporting young artists and musicians at the beginning of their careers

  • Mission statement

    We believe in the power of music and theatre to positvely impact upon people's lives and are committed to introducing more people to this art particlar art-form. We actively support young artists and musicians who are still in education but looking for their first steps into the world of work. We provide an education programme running music workshops in primary and secondary schools in Glocucestershire and surrounding counties to stimulate an interest in music.

    Longborough Festival Opera aims to:

    • To provide work experience and artistic development opportunities for young artists beginning their careers.
    • To promote and encourage the appreciation of Opera and Music Theatre
    • To provide music education programmes for children aged 8-18
