British Friends of Haifa University

The British Friends of the University of Haifa is a national charity promoting pluralism and equal opportunities in Israel through education and science by supporting the University of Haifa.
The University of Haifa is the most pluralistic institution of higher education in Israel: students from big cities and development towns, kibbutzim and moshavim, new immigrants, Jews, Arabs, and Druzes, IDF officers and security personnel—all sitting together on the bench of knowledge in an atmosphere of coexistence, tolerance, and mutual respect.
The University considers the link-up between academic excellence and social responsibility as its flagship, and provides services to the community through its legal clinics, community theatre and other projects operated by students and staff.
Our organisation is committed to providing funds for the University, supporting students and academics, and sustaining research projects across all academic disciplines.
