The Rainbow Centre for Children provides free and professional support to children and their families affected by bereavement and life-threatening illness. A range of services are available to suit the needs of each child and the family including one-one counselling, art, drama, music and play therapies, facilitated family group workshops and family fun days.

    The Rainbow Centre for Children aims to provide the highest quality support to children and their families affected by bereavement or life threatening illness. We provide a free professional therapeutic service to families where a child or parent/carer has died or is likely to die before the child reaches the age of 18. We work with families affected by cancer, cardiac arrest, road traffic accidents, suicide and murder and other causes of death.

    • To enable a family to cope with the emotional impact of the death or life threatening illness of a parent or child, so that family can rebuild their lives and go on to fulfill their potential.
