“A just and equal society in which all children and young people receive their entitlement to an appropriate and enlightened education allowing them to fulfil their potential and make a contribution to an inclusive society. ”

To ensure that pupils who have been excluded from school are advised, supported and represented so that they can return to full-time, mainstream education as entitled.

To support young people’s personal, social, intellectual and spiritual development in school.

To enhance equality of opportunity in education by offering services in tune with the needs and aspirations of students, parents/ guardians, teachers, governors and other educational specialists.

To create a strong multi-ethnic membership that is actively involved in CEN locally, regionally and nationally.

CEN works in partnership with parents, children and young people in order to empower them. We work with families on the basis of their express support and permission, and with respect and consideration of their values.
