BRINOS is dedicated to the treatment and prevention of deafness in Nepal. Money raised will continue the support of a specialised ear healthcare service which has treated over 250000 patients.

  • Mission statement

    BRINOS is dedicated to the treatment of ear disease and prevention of deafness in Nepal.
    It supports a permanent primary ear care service run by Nepalese community ear assistants and provides 3 ear surgery camps serviced by teams of UK and Nepali surgeon and nurses.
    The charity provides teaching and training to junior Nepalese healthcare workers and is raising money to build the first dedicated ear hospital in southwestern Nepal.
    Throughout the year the charity funds the screening of school children, runs daily clinics and dispenses and maintains hearing aids.
    The charity supports 1200 village volunteers who teach prevention and the detection of ear disease.
    In 2013 the charity the will perform its 50th ear surgery camp celebrating 25yrs of partnership with Nepal.
