  • Mission statement

Springfield Community Flat runs Stewart's road Adventure Playground and Youth Centre. Our vision for the centre is:
"A safe and caring community, creating fun opportunities where all feel equally respected, supported and inspired. "

We are here to create a welcoming adventure playground and youth centre for everyone. We work together to bring new ideas, making fun and exciting opportunities that help us to explore the world and be the best we can be.
We are good role models, caring for and supporting each other.

  • Aims

    Springfield Community Flat aims to:

    • SCF works to improve the lives of local people, whatever their background. We aim to reduce inequality and to empower members of the community to raise themselves out of poverty by giving them the support, skills and knowledge they need to take control of their lives. We work with children, young people (especially NEETs), families, the elderly, refugees, asylum-seekers, new migrants, the long-term unemployed and anyone else needing help. We are often the first point of call for problems and are considered a ‘safe place’ to meet and seek help.
    • We aim to combat high levels of crime, unemployment, discrimination, gang violence and to reach out to isolated/disengaged people within the community.
