JCORE provides a Jewish voice on Race and Asylum.

  • Mission statement

    To work with Jewish and other communities in building a positive, multi-ethnic Britain, drawing on Jewish teaching, experience and a tradition of social action. JCORE works with the Jewish and wider communities to promote a positive, multi-ethnic UK, free from all forms of racism.

    We promote active citizenship through race-equality education for all age groups.

    We campaign on race and asylum, give practical support to asylum seekers and refugees, and create opportunities for volunteering.

  • Aims

    Jewish Council For Racial Equality aims to:

    • THE PROMOTION OF RACIAL HARMONY BY PROMOTING KNOWLEDGE AND MUTUAL UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN DIFFERENT RACIAL GROUPS.
    • THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY OF YOUNG PEOPLE IN RELATION TO ISSUES OF RACIAL EQUALITY.
    • THE RELIEF OF NEED FOR PUBLIC BENEFIT AMONGST ASYLUM SEEKERS AND THOSE GRANTED REFUGEE STATUS
