  • Mission statement

The Glasgow School of Art is committed to providing the best possible environment for our students. In 2009 we successfully completed the refurbishment of the Mackintosh Building, in 2013 we will open the major new building designed by Steven Holl to house our School of Design and many of the central student facilities such as workshops and lecture theatres.
The next stage of our campus renewal is to create a new Graduate and Research Centre as a hub for our School-wide postgraduate and research communities. Research, knowledge exchange and the Graduate School are areas of significant development. As well as offering greatly enhanced facilities for existing researchers and postgraduate programmes, the new Graduate and Research Centre will help us achieve our ambitious growth plans in these areas.
