  • Mission statement

    Wishing Well House is a small established charity based in the North West of England our aim is to provide arts based facilities and services for education, integration and guidance of children diagnosed with autism and other related communication disorders.
    Wishing Well House also aims to provide parental support to parents of autistic children

    Based in the North West the charity aims to provide arts based therapy,
    1. The focus of or work is Music and Movement
    2. Establishing regular weekend dance and movement classes
    3. Recruiting, vetting and training a team of volunteers who can deliver or help with the movement and music workshops for children with autism
    4. Researching appropriate music therapy for children with autism
    5. Obtaining specialist music equipment.
    6. Recruiting, vetting and training a team of volunteers who can deliver one to one and group music therapy for autistic children
    7. Marketing our services to the parents and guardians of local children with autism.
    8. Establishing a more formal approach and direction to fundraising
    9 Creating links and partnerships with other agencies and charities to secure the widest range of services.

    The charity is run by a small team of volunteers and trustees with no paid salaries
