  • Mission statement

    Our aim as a charity is to support the West Midlands Ambulance Service in our local communities by having a team of highly trained, well equipped, group of volunteers that live within the communities of Coventry who can be mobilised at a moments notice to deal with a wide range of medical and traumatic emergencies prior to the arrival of the ambulance. Our aim is not to replace the ambulance, but in fact compliment the good work of the service and provide treatment that makes the difference of improving patient survivability in them valuable minutes prior to there arrival. Coventry Community Responders are a growing charity, who have the vision to have at least one responder based in every postal code area and provide 24 hour cover across the whole city.

  • Aims

    Coventry Community Responders aims to:

    • To have at least one highly trained volunteer within each postal code area who can book on duty and be mobilised to any medical or traumatic emergency within 7 minutes travelling time.
    • To be a able to have a scheme car that can be crewed during peak times where extra pressure is being placed on West Midlands Ambulance Service to allow city wide coverage from key standby points.
    • To raise our profile in Coventry and save lives of the people we serve
