  • Mission statement

YWHP aims to provide safe accommodation and support for homeless young women and children who have been sexually abused, including being subjected to psychological, emotional and physical abuse or violence.
We aim to create a safe and supportive therapeutic environment in which young women have the opportunity to work through and resolve issues from the past, alongside the opportunity to develop practical skills, which will enable them to move successfully on into independent living.
YWHP is based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire and we are one of the only specialist projects of this kind in the UK.

  • Aims

The Young Women's Housing Project aims to:

    • To provide safe places to live and specialist support to help young women to overcome the effects of abuse and get on with living their lives.
