Cornwall People First

Cornwall People First is a 'Self Advocacy Group'. It is run by and for adults with learning disabilities. We help each other. We speak up at forums throughout Cornwall.

  • Mission statement

    To relieve the needs of people with Learning Disabilities who live or work in
    Cornwall and surrounding areas by assisting such persons to develop their full potential and obtain their rights and privileges, particularly but not exclusively, by the provision of advocacy, support, advice, information, education and training.

  • Aims

    Cornwall People First aims to:

    • To improve services and access to services for people with learning disabilities.
    • To produce suitable written materials accessible to all.
    • To influence and inform the planning of services for people with learning disabiliites
    • To run events, conferences and meetings for adults with learning disabilities in Cornwall.
