House of Joy is a charity in South Wales which aims to bring about real changes that are sustainable and benefit the lives of the people we are involved with in Uganda.

    To advance the Christian faith in the Uk , Uganda and rest of the world.
    To advance education through the provision of Nursery and primary education in Uganda.
    To relieve persons who are in conditions of need or hardship and to relieve the distress caused thereby in such parts of Uganda

  • Aims

    House Of Joy, South Wales aims to:

    • To provide hope and a better future for the children of Kasala village through education . The charity built a Nursery and primary school at the village in 2005 . The school has grown and is thriving
    • To protect , rescue and rehabilitate local vulnerable children where possible . In 2012 the charity began a new project to care for these children called Broken Arrows .t
    • To teach life skills and trades to teenagers and young people , thereby enabling a brighter future . This will be done through a 1 year Boarding school initiative called Esther and Joseph project
    • To provide a way for the local economy to grow through microfinance . This is currently provided successfully to 12 local farmers , with more local farmers asking to join project .
    • To reengage young teenage girls back into education . Thus giving them hope for a brighter future and preventing early pregnancy and child Brides . This is done through our Potters House initiative
