The Moringa Tree Ltd
The Moringa Tree Ltd
At the Moringa Tree we believe that Music Festivals and other Cultural Events have huge potential to bring about positive change. Working in the UK and overseas, we use these events to celebrate different cultures, connect with local communities and generate the income needed to support sustainable legacies.
The Moringa Tree aims to promote the global arts and cultural exchange whilst facilitating income generation and developing community sustainability, both in the UK and overseas. Our festivals give new and unsigned local artists, musicians and performers an opportunity to reach new audiences and a fresh platform to promote their work through. We also aim to support them through our own record label – with 100% of profits being returned to the artists.
Promoting education and interaction outside of a formal setting is another Moringa Goal; we want to engage people with the arts and use it not just as a means for artistic expression, but also as a platform for encompassing and raising wider issues and discussions relevant to individual community needs.
The use of music to enhance social cohesion and understanding within all communities is a key element of our work. Musical events also generate money for local community development, for example, providing a clean public water supply. Moringa aims to achieve sustainable community development through arts events in this manner. The promotion of an area through international festivals enhances regional development, benefitting locals’ businesses. Finally, promoting happiness and well-being is integral to all of Moringa’s work.
