The Institute for Orthodox Christian Studies

The Institute for Orthodox Christian Studies in Cambridge, England was founded in 1999 with the blessing of all the Orthodox bishops of Great Britain and is a member of the Cambridge Theological Federation. The Institute offers full-time and part-time educational courses in the Orthodox Christian theological tradition.

The Institute represents Eastern Orthodox Christianity in a western setting; leads its students, from a basis in Orthodox worship and practice, to encounter the challenge and opportunity offered by other Christian traditions; prepares its students for life in an increasingly pluralist world; equips them to understand the cultures and traditions of those Orthodox countries that are now part of the ever-widening European community.

The charity is a Company Limited by Guarantee no. 3785551. We are fundraising both to sustain our current projects and to develop online learning, "The Way" course, our Resource Centre and other projects. Please consult our web site (below) for the current Prospectus.
