To promote and educate performing arts skills. To enable children from the age of three and the young people of Newham and surrounding boroughs to develop and promote through tuition and support.

  • Mission statement

    We aim to develop the potential of each person within the whole school providing a high quality education in the performing arts to provide a challenging and stimulating curriculum which encourages self-discipline, mutual respect and sharing of effort and achievement. The school is open to boys and girls from the age of three years. We aim to provide tuition to persons with physical and mental disabilities.

  • Aims

    The Deborah Day Theatre School Trust aims to:

    • • Educational qualifications in performing arts for children as young as six. Therefore increasing their access to higher education.
    • • The development of life skills: discipline, commitment, a self confidence and social skill all of which improve their chances of future employment and makes them responsible citizens.
    • • Community cohesion DDTST is both culturally and ethnically diverse and unites local families with a common interest in the performing arts and their children’s well being.
    • • Increased fitness levels and healthy lifestyles for children and young people.
    • • DDTST members use their time constructively and are at less risk of becoming involved with gangs, drugs and alcohol and anti social behaviour.
