Earhlinks UK's projects are in the five basics of life: Food, Air, Water, Spirit and Science. Fulfilment in these enables people to have more holistic lives. Projects connecting the East and the West.
Earthlinks UK works to continuously find and test more ecological and sustainable methods for bringing about social transformation.
Our work is especially important in the context of climate change and the rising scarcity of resources, and equally important in the context of the existing inequalities between the East and the West in areas of finance and (over) consumption of global natural resources.
Earthlinks UK is established to work with people at the level of the five basics of life, Water, Food, Energy, Science and Spirit. These five basics address the need for human fulfillment in the outer & inner landscape.
At this time when global problems necessitate both local and global solutions, Earthlinks UK advocates building bridges between Science and Spirituality, Earth and Humanity, East and West, People and Nature, Traditional and Modern.
Earthlinks UK works in educational as well as practical ways to further the above.
• Food justice
• Water justice
• Renewable Energy
• Holistic Science
• Non- dogmatic spiritual values
Earthlinks UK aims to:
- Water Justice Traditional wisdom informing present day action in rejuvenating water systems in the most arid regions. Enabling community participation and control of their own water systems.
- Food Justice Enabling food choices that benefit our environment, our communities and our economies. Building resilience, healthy communities and support for local food economies.
- Holistic Science A science of systems & wholes, qualities & values.Viewing the current social, economic and ecological issues, it helps us go beyond the limits of the current scientifc paradigm.
