Partners Relief And Development UK

Partners works for all people effected by the war in Burma. Our programmes are focussed around emergency relief, development and advocacy. We currently have two field offices based in Thailand.

  • Mission statement

    Through holistic action, we demonstrate God’s love to children and communities made vulnerable by war in Burma.

    Our vision is to see free, full lives for the children of Burma and to see reconciled communities living in peace.

    Partners Relief & Development provides temporary relief in times of crisis when lives are at risk due to oppression, war or natural disaster. This includes the provision of basic essentials such as food, clothing, water, medicine and shelter as a short-term solutions to an immediate crisis. Included in our relief work is assistance to those, especially children, affected by war and now living in refugee camps along the Thai-Burma border.

    We are also dedicated to providing long-term sustainable solutions to poverty. This may include agricultural projects, animal husbandry, small business enterprises or any other creative way we can help impoverished people help themselves. Additionally, we provide and facilitate training in the areas of education, vocation, leadership, Bible study and family development.

    Partners Relief And Development UK aims to:

    • Raise and provide financial support for our emergency relief and development programmes based on the ground in Thailand and Burma.
    • Raise awareness of our work at both a local and national level through public speaking, press interviews and articles, social media, printed resources and Parliamentary meetings.
