The Converging World

The Converging World alleviates poverty, reduces inequality and combats climate change. Two wind turbines in India help to fund our social and environmental projects, in the UK and India.

  • Mission statement

    The mission of The Converging World is to build resilient and sustainable communities through:
    - The preservation, conservation and protection of the environment and the prudent use of natural resources;
    - The relief of poverty and the improvement of conditions of life among socially and economically disadvantaged communities; and
    - The promotion of sustainable means of achieving economic growth and regeneration

  • Aims

    The Converging World aims to:

    • Build a sense of global citizenship and responsibility for resources amongst young people in India and the UK
    • Provide some of the most disadvantaged Indian communities with access to education, healthcare and economic development
    • Help vulnerable communities in India to adapt to climate change
    • Enable people in India and the UK to gain access to affordable and sustainable energy
    • Support the replenishment of soils and forests
