  • Mission statement

RPR has grown to become one of the country’s top rehoming centres & are used by National agencies such as the RSPCA & CPL to help them in taking their cats that they have found difficulty in rehoming. Our mission is to relieve suffering of cats in need of care & attention & in particular to provide rescue homes or other facilities for the reception, care & treatment of such cats. We also aim to educate the public in matters pertaining to animal welfare in general and the prevention of cruelty & suffering amongst cats.

  • Aims

    Rushden Persian Rescue aims to:

    • The aim of our Charity is to provide a calm & safe environment for cats that have been lost, neglected, abandoned or illtreated.
    • After being vet checked, treated for injuries, neutered given the necessary innoculations & allowed to have time to trust humans again the aim is to find loving homes for the rest of their lives
    • Our third aim is to educate the public into the care of a pedigree cat by running grooming classes and taking suitable animals into care homes as therapy for residents.
