TEAMS has its base of operations in Northern Uganda. We have an integrated whole person approach which aims to support development in all areas of people’s lives and community.

  • Mission statement

    There are two aspects of the vision; TRAIN & TRANSFORM. The training arm involves partnership with local churches and leadership development. TRANSFORM is the development aspect which is done through the projects bellow:
    Agape child Support: Sponsoring and supporting orphaned children through their education
    Agriculture: Bee Keeping, Goat Project
    The Building Project: Buildings to support the local community; water borehole, football pitch and agricultural initiatives.
    Community Health training: Providing rural communities with a greater knowledge of basic health concerns using community based health initiatives.
    Literacy Project: Improving adult literacy within the community.
    Sewing School: Offering women an opportunity to gain skills and contribute to their society.
    Bakery & Nutrition classes: Offering women an opportunity to gain skills and contribute at home and to their society.

  • Aims

    The East African Missionary Society aims to:

    • Develop livelihoods in East Africa by providing the opportunity to learn new skills and apply them to innovative business ideas.
    • A high percentage of adults in East Africa missed the opportunity to go to school because of civil war by providing adult education, parents can help their children and provide for their family.
    • Provide basic healthcare training and a local clinic. This will provide accessible and affordable healthcare to the community.
