  • Aims

    APRIL - Adverse Psychiatric Reactions Information Link aims to:

    • To influence the Suicide Prevention Strategy for England to include medication induced (iatrogenic) suicide in the Strategy. In particular following findings in Scotland of this link to suicides.
    • To change the low emphasis in medical education for the subject of Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics.
    • To save lives by creating awareness when a person is not tolerating medication. Nightmares, headaches, mood swings, insomnia, confusion, dizziness are all possible early warning signs.
