Newcastle United Foundation

We use the passion for football to inspire and engage communities, encouraging learning and promoting healthy lifestyles to make a real difference to the lives of children, young people and families.

Founded 2008

  • Mission statement

Every year, Newcastle United Foundation works with children, young people and families in the North East. Our aims are:

 To promote active and healthy lifestyles, particularly in disadvantaged communities.

 To inspire children to learn and help young people reach their potential.

 To engage young people in constructive activities that build safe, strong communities.

 To promote equality and value diversity

In 2012/13, we helped over 40,000 people in the North East and we want to increase this to 42,000 for 2013/14. This is because we have seen demand for our projects from families, schools and other community groups. As an independent charity, we need to raise over £1. 2 million to meet our annual running costs. We are proud of what we have achieved so far but there is still a way to go before we begin to realise our full potential within the region. Please support the Foundation in delivering much needed projects to communities in the North East.
