Leeds Christian Community Trust

Leeds Christian Community Trust is here to enable, encourage and support Christians, working in unity and in mission, to pursue their dreams and visions and make a positive difference in Leeds.

Founded 2003

  • Mission statement

To enable, encourage and support Christians, working in unity and in mission, to pursue their dreams and visions to make a positive difference in Leeds. We do this by providing 'seed funding' to help those with the vision and initiative to do what they need to do to transform Leeds. In addition to that we provide a legal and support structure to allow projects to focus on their passions without forcing them to deal with the pressures of bureaucracy. Our trustees are from a wide range of denominational and professional backgrounds to ensure that we are an open and approachable resource for the entire Christian community in the city.

  • Aims

Leeds Christian Community Trust aims to:

    • to promote social inclusion by preventing people from becoming socially excluded, relieving the needs of those people who are socially excluded and assisting them to integrate into society
    • to advance education amongst members of the community for the benefit of the community and social cohesion
    • to advance the Christian faith for the benefit of the public
