  • Mission statement

    Our mission is to bring to these abandoned, orphans and vulnerable children, a well equipped homes and center of education where the Teachers of Santa Maria will take care not only of their education but also their emotional needs, embracing the academic, cultural and physiological aspects of their upbringing, as well as passing on to them the higher values in life of common courtesy, good manners and resourcefulness in whatever their chosen path in life may be.

    The Santa Maria Foundation (SMF) supports abandoned, orphans and also those considered to be at “high risk little girls in Colombia in all their needs: education, health , recreation, physiological, phyco-social, protection , sport , environment and also implementing arts as therapy to restore self-esteem among pupils, many disadvantage or emotional damage, who can struggle with conventional teaching.

    Santa Maria Foundation aims to:

    • Our aim is to give the girls aged from 3 years upward a new start in life after the terrible traumas they have suffered. Santa Maria will never be an institution, It is refined center of academic learning supported by dedicated teachers.
    • We belief that every child has the ability to flourish in society hence providing a platform for young girls to develop academically , artistically and personally into aspiring and influential adults so is an honoured to invited you to be part of our mission and grow with these children as a family to them no just other a donor.
    • Highly trained staff are there to help and support them night and day, ensuring the children’s health, safety and well-being at all the times.
    • All the children are treated as individuals just as they would be in any normal family environment.
