  • Mission statement

Salford Heart Care is a registered charity and is unique to Salford. No other organisation offers the package of support and care available at Salford Heart Care.

We offer support to enable people to improve their health and well-being and to help prevent heart-related problems. We also provide after-care to those with heart-related or long-term conditions.

We have 7 Healthy Heart Clubs operating across the City of Salford. We offer a range of activities including exercise, tai chi, relaxation and stress managment, holistic therapies, indoor games, computer access, and weight management support. We encourage our volunteers to take an active role, and there are social activities and trips including an annual group holiday.

We work in partnership with community organisations and health professionals and organise informative presentations on a regular basis to enable people to self-care and improve their health and well-being.
