    Help for today, hope for tomorrow for children, adults and their families who are living with Spinal Muscular Atrophy.

  • Aims

    Spinal Muscular Atrophy UK aims to:

    • Listen to, assist and empower families and individuals affected by SMA who seek information and support, particularly those faced with a new diagnosis or at a time of transition and change
    • Develop resources to raise awareness of SMA and give support to local health and social care professionals providing front line services
    • Respond to changing SMA population demographics and consult with families and individuals as to what longer term care management issues and challenges are of most concern and require further research
