IDI uses dance to connect the arts with educational goals. IDI works in schools & youth organisations, trains teachers and organises performing groups. Outreach programmes feature inter-faith activities and training for Jewish communities in Eastern Europe & South America

    To promote Israeli dance and song to the widest possible number of people in order to foster good community relations, community cohesion and understanding through cultural interchange. IDI also aims to promote Jewish identity through identification with the Hebrew language and connection with Israeli culture. The work of the charity covers education and the promotion of religion, but also seeks to maximise general public benefit
