Alne Pre-school Playgroup

Since 1971 we have cared for and educated the children in Alne and the surrounding rural area in Alne Village Hall, 4 days a week from 9am to 3pm. We are open to all children aged 2 to 4 years.

Founded 2012

  • Mission statement

Our aim is to encourage the development and education of the pre-school children of Alne and the surrounding rural community through play in a safe, controlled environment; developing their ability to co-operate and share; teaching them to treat others with kindness and respect; encouraging them to become independent learners, to make friends and to have fun. We aim to provide high quality, affordable childcare for the families we work with to ensure the parents and the children forge positive learning experiences for the future. Our charity was formed in 1971 and we incorpoated the charity in 2012.
