Tea Leaf Trust provides educational opportunities to the tea estate communities of Sri Lanka. These communities are deliberately neglected in order to keep them as an uneducated, dependent workforce.

Mission statement
To address the inequalities that exist within the tea estates of Sri Lanka by providing positive opportunities for academic, emotional and social progress of young people so that they can fulfill their potential based on the key concepts of dignity and service.

Aims
The Tea Leaf Trust aims to:
- To provide professional skills and basic English education to young people from the tea estate communities
- To develop the concept of service within these young people so that they become "Change Agents" within their communities.
- To advocate on behalf of these communities to address to issues of neglect, oppression and injustice that affect their lives on a day-to-day basis and in the long-term
