CareTrade is developing innovative training opportunities for young Londoners with autism to help them into employment and to live the lives they want.

  • Mission statement

    CareTrade’s mission is to improve the life chances of school leavers and adults with autism by: - creating inspirational and sustainable work experience, supported internships and apprenticeship schemes to increase employment opportunities; developing innovative live/work solutions and opportunities that meet the needs of individuals. CareTrade will also work to make society more aware of the needs of adults with autism.
    CareTrade was founded by Katharine Doré OBE and Karen Edwards in 2009. They were Founders and Trustees (1997-2007/9) and currently Vice Presidents of Ambitious About Autism (TreeHouse Trust). Other charitable involvement includes ASSET (Advocacy Services and Special Educational Training) and previously PACE (Parents Autism Campaign for Education) and NAS National Councillor.
