Refugee Support Network

We support young people affected by displacement or crisis to access and progress in education. We work primarily with unaccompanied refugee children and young victims of trafficking.

Founded 2009

  • Mission statement

Our mission is to help young people affected by displacement to achieve their educational potential. We invest in education because we believe it creates hope for a future, both for the young people we work with in the UK and for those who remain in, or return to, regions of the world affected by displacement and crisis.

  • Aims

    Refugee Support Network aims to:

    • To resource young people affected by displacement or crisis to overcome the barriers that prevent them from accessing and progressing in education and training.
    • To equip young refugees and asylum seekers as future leaders, supporting them to realise their potential whether they remain in the UK or have to return to their country of origin.
    • To engage with policy and research relevant to our areas of work, enabling the voices of individual young people to be heard and represented in the decisions and debates that affect their lives.
