North Bristol Community Project

One in Eight is a local charity of over 30 years trying to help disadvantaged people in our local community, offering therapeutic/educational classes and activities, we are in need of funding to continue our work through 2016 and beyond.

  • Mission statement

    The Project aims to:
    Act As a community resource centre and meeting place.
    Provide
    Recreational, Therapeutic & Work orientated Adult Community Education & classes, activities and workshops, with a wide range of subjects, of interest to all members of the community.
    Respond To local needs, supporting any service that is of use to the community.
    Classes can include Art, Drawing, Crafts, Languages, Counselling service, Advice, Guidance, Housing Advice, Benefit Advice, Music, Computer Classes and Internet access.
    Also helping homeless people by giving bedding, clothing, small food parcels & other items to help keep them a bit healthier.
