The Charity has grown into a key service provider in Wales for substance misuse training,volunteering and specialist community engagement services supporting Black & Minority Ethnic (BME) communities.

    Building the capacity and enhancing the effectiveness of substance misuse services by linking volunteers to agencies, agencies to training and communities to services

  • Aims

    Newlink Wales aims to:

    • Advance the education of the public in the causes and effects of substance misuse
    • Help in the prevention and minimise the risks of substance misuse
    • Relieve the harm, adverse health and living conditions of those affected by substance misuse through the provision of services to professionals, volunteers and statutory agencies working in the field
    • To promote equality in access of services and treatment
    • These are achieved through the medium of training,volunteer recruitment and placement,programmes for service users,and ex-users,and an unparalleled Black & Minority Ethnic community engagement service
