Supporting Disadvantaged women, such as;
Victims of Human Trafficking,
Victims of Domestic Violence,
Victims of Forced Marriages,
Unemployed & Low Skilled Women

Founded 2011

  • Mission statement

    Our main activities are to support disadvantaged women by providing them with support, skills and training and a dignified income. Some of the categories of women we help are:
     Victims of Human Trafficking
     Victims of Domestic Violence
     Women who have experienced social exclusion
     Unemployed and low-skilled women
     Victims of Forced Marriages

    We have a threefold approach in helping the women we work with:
    1. Improving the Immediate situation these women are in – this involves getting these women out of their current situation and getting the immediate help they need. This can involve referral to drug/drink counselling services, immediate safe housing, medical attention, and help from the police if needed.
    2. Providing skills and training – this involves providing basic training in mathematics and English, and then providing training which fits in with these women’s long terms goals. This usually involves training in sewing, cooking, or tailored training specific to their aspirations.
    3. Providing a Sustainable Income Stream – this involves providing raw materials, machinery and a sales channels to enable these women to work their way out of poverty and enables them to have a direct impact on their financial situation.
