  • Mission statement

MSI’s vision is a world where every birth is wanted. Its mission is Children by Choice not Chance.

We are people centred and continuously seek to improve our work, expanding our reach into new territories in order to reach the most underserved populations. A network of clinics form the backbone of our service delivery infrastructure. This is complemented by mobile clinical outreach teams and other service delivery models including social franchising, centres and MS Ladies.

MSI delivered services across 37 countries and at the end of 2016, around 25 million women and men worldwide were using a method of contraception provided by us. The services delivered by MSI in 2016 averted:

    7. 6 million unintended pregnancies
    21,600 maternal deaths
    4. 8 million unsafe abortions

  • Aims
