SNAC is a small volunteer run charity providing a network of support for children with arthritis and their families.

  • Mission statement

    To provide a national support network for children with arthritis and their families through the provision of factual, practical and emotional support. It aims to pull together the wider community of affected children in Scotland as well as raise public awareness of childhood arthritis.

  • Aims

    Scottish Network for Arthritis in Children (SNAC) aims to:

    • Facilitate contacts for children with arthritis and their families to others in a similar situation and provide a named family contact for support
    • Organise annual educational days and family weekends to provide opportunities to network both with other affected families and with rheumatology specialists from across Scotland
    • Provide recreational events for affected children
    • Compile database of relevant and up to date literature and to have and maintain a comprehensive website
    • Fundraise and increase public awareness of childhood arthritis
