Alina Foundation

We provide vital medical equipment for voluntary organisations in Poland that provide free care for adults and children with terminal illnesses, and raise awareness of hospices and palliative care.

Founded 2009

  • Mission statement

Our mission is to ensure that anyone with a terminal illness such as cancer, and their family and friends, have access to the support and equipment that they need - whether they are in a hospice or being cared for at home.

We aim to increase understanding of hospices and palliative care, to provide access to sources of information and to show that hospices are life too.

We work with voluntary organisations throughout Poland, which provide free care and support for adults and children in residential hospices and in their own homes. We also support organisations that work with carers and bereaved families.
