Founded 2002

  • Mission statement

KEEN London gives children and young adults with special needs a chance to enjoy sports and creative activities in a safe and fully supported environment. Our 'athletes' (aged 5 upwards) benefit from one-to-one coaching at free weekly sessions. Our unique approach pairs each athlete with a volunteer coach, meaning they get maximum benefit from their time at KEEN. Our high ratio of support means each athlete is safe and catered for according to their individual needs. We offer many individual and group activities on-site including sports such as football, basketball, cricket and hockey. On site activities also include trampolining, music, arts and crafts and cooking. Our trips out include ice skating, swimming, London Aquarium, boating, pony rides, museums and visits to parks.
We rely heavily on the goodwill of volunteers who run safe and exciting sessions for our athletes. Over a ten year period they, like our special youngsters, have become integral to the KEEN London family.

In April 2012, KEEN London will celebrate its 10th Anniversary
