Bath Philharmonia

Bath Philharmonia is one of the most exciting orchestras to have emerged in the UK over the last 20 years. Our vision is make high quality orchestral music accessible to our communities in the South West. We do this by programming a diverse range of concerts and events that reflect our 21st century demands and needs. In addition to concert performances, Bath Philharmonia’s Creative Learning Team creates original music with extraordinary people.

    Bath Philharmonia aims to develop national and international recognition for innovative and diverse programming and for inspiring educational and community projects. Based in a world heritage city, we aim to capitalise on our flexibility and on collaboration with creative partners to develop and integrate our activities. We aim to connect further with our communities and to continue to build our audiences in the 2020s.

    • To engage with young people and children in order to help them enjoy, understand and take part in music-making.
    • To take high quality orchestral repertoire to regions which are otherwise unable to enjoy the music
    • to be the orchestral ensemble of choice for the South West
