The pool offers warm water therapy to any individual with a disability whether that disability is permanent or temporary. In short any condition you think might benefit from Hydrotherapy are welcome.

  • Mission statement

    To provide the advancement of educational health care and the improvement of the quality of life for the disabled by the provision of thermal water treatment, irrespective of that disability being temporary or permanent.
    To make the hydrotherapy experience enjoyable to all pool users and their carers by providing thermal water therapy in a stress free environment.
    To break down attitudinal barriers caused by ignorance and misconceptions in order to promote awareness of the pool and its needs.
    To ensure that the THPA is non-party political, non-sectarian and shall not engage in any unlawful activity as it seeks to promote its business without regard to race, religion,gender, ability or sexual orientation.

  • Aims

    Thamesdown Hydrotherapy Pool Association aims to:

    • To maintain the sustainability so to ensure that we are here for this generation of the disabled public and generations to come. By fundraising and donations to top up our running costs every year.
    • To replace old and broken equipment due to wear and tear keeping us cost effective.
    • To grow so we could accommodate more of the disabled community. So to increase usage etc.
