By empowering young people and offenders to make positive choices to support them in or back into training, volunteering and employment.
By delivering innovative and creative interventions in schools, youth clubs, and on Outreach. We target trouble spots, disadvantaged young people, not in education employment or training (NEET young people) We go to local areas and schools and deliver tailor made interventions.
Universal drugs/alcohol, law, gangs, knife crime, bullying and racism education for all young people as part of an holistic approach
Outreach with disadvantaged and hard to reach young people involved in anti social behaviour, drugs, alcohol, bullying crime, gangs and knife crime and signpost them into services
Mentoring and alternative curriculum programmes to disadvantaged young people , not in education employment or training (NEET young people) to help them support them to stay in education.
Refocus aims to:
- Education & awareness sessions to young people aged 9 - 17 years old. Addressing Child Crime/Sex Exploitation, using real life experiences of staff, and Role play making the sessions very engaging
- Intense mentoring giving early help to young people from gangs, knife crime, violence and drug to avoid exclusion, targeting vulnerable disadvantaged, at risk & those not in education
