  • Mission statement

    To support the communities of Cannock Chase district in order to provide a range of services that enhance the life experiences of the area. Services include: Furniture Re-use; Older and/or vulnerable people's groups; Family support and educational activities; volunteering; voluntary and community group development and support; domestic violence forum; community transport.

  • Aims

    Support Staffordshire Cannock Chase aims to:

    • Development of both new and existing voluntary groups by responding to the needs of both the voluntary sector and the community at large
    • Support of local groups by way of providing office services and advice on various subjects
    • Representation of local voluntary and community groups views at local levels in both central Government initiatives and local Government strategies
    • Liaison between both voluntary organisations and voluntary and statutory agencies by developing networking opportunities and forums
    • Partnership supporting the development of key partnerships in Cannock Chase and encouraging the voluntary and community sector to become involved in partnership work.
