A charity broadcasting service specifically aimed at hospital patients in the Tunbridge Wells Hospital at Pembury and Tonbridge Cottage hospitals in the West Kent area.

    Hospital Radio aims to relieve sickness and ill health amongst the elderly and other hospital patients by providing bedside entertainment. By collecting patient requests we aim to aid recovery using the feel good factor brought about by having a song played and their name mentioned on the radio. Hospital Radio Tunbridge Wells serves patients in NHS hospitals in West Kent, programmes can also be heard online by relatives and friends who can ring and make a request, then listen to hear the song played and their loved ones mentioned on the radio. The service is a member of the Hospital Broadcasting Association and has been running since 1961, it is entirely run by volunteers and is a registered charity.
